I used the same wheels (mine came from Screwfix) for my Petter A1 trolley -- they're very solid and capable. Great update. Really looking forward to seeing the engine mounted and running.

Great video George! Last winter I helped a friend build a trolley for his volvo diesel boat engine, it was very satisfying to see the engine go on it and the trolley didn't fall apart! :)

I think I will rubber mount my engine when I build the new trolley. A few weeks back I decided to start it on concrete ground and it was skateing around everywhere! They arn't the best ballanced engine ever made.....mine does have solid plastic wheels at the moment, I might get some of those inflatable caravan jockey wheels.
I can't wait to see it start, should be good : )

the trolley look pretty good.
Im looking foreward to seing the engine mounted.
Looks great! Are you going to rubber mount the engine? some electric motor mounting rubbers would work really well and just stop the thing leaping about. The bolts look plenty strong enough and should be fine.
Well done.

@steamwally I dont intend to rubber mount the engine. However on this trolley I havent glued the top deck down as I normally do. So if I need to alter the trolley it will be just a matter of removing the wood screws and making a new deck to suit any rubber mounts if I need any. Cheers.
