  • Sorry, I haven't played any expansions.

Monument is just for culture, right?

  • @goingfortheone1

Yeah, it's 1 culture/turn (its the same thing as an obelisk except in BTS it obsoletes at astronomy rather than calendar)

  • The AI have equal stats as the player on noble difficulty, anything above that has cheating AI that start with more units. On deity, they start with 2 settlers.

  • @CynicalRage

They also pay <50% cost on units/buildings on deity after an era bonus or two. Beware, however, that even on noble the AI has some advantages over the player, such as upgrade costs.

  • I'm new at this game and I'm already loving it but I'm really having difficulties with deciding what to research and stuff like that. What is the best and quickest way to learn the basics?

Also can you just put the workers on automatic from the start or do you need to be more careful about what you want them to do?

  • Worker micro is pretty important, I automate to save time but I'm used to their flaws and work around them (in later videos I try to explain my logic for this). The best place to pick up details for this game is civilization fanatics forum ---> probably the best forum I've ever been a part of, with lots of high skill and very little harassment/disregard for newer players.

  • am i the only one who likes being Stalin? it just seems that whenever i play online or talk to people, people always say hes crap, but he suits my style

  • I don't know if you notice it (writing before veiwing), but at the beginning Isabella seems willing to trade you Hunting for Mining.

Might not be the best trade, but it would have helped build stronger diplomatic relations (important if you want her to help you, or make better trades, later on).

  • TheMeInTeam, I love your playstyle. :D It's epic. I play in a much more general, stereotypical way. I try to do most of everything by the book, deviating from the established course every now and then. You deviate from the "normal" style of play in every video of yours that I have watched. And I love it and that's why I keep watching them. :D Keep it up, Civ Gamer :D

  • @anarcy7777u in soviet russia style suits you!

  • @anarcy7777u josefVstalin plays stalin youtube.com/user/JosefVStalin

  • the random numbers caused a warrior to take a city with a garrison of 2 machine guns a helicopter a tank and 7 grenadiers

  • the random numbers caused a warrior to take a city with a garrison of 2 machine guns a helicopter a tank and 7 grenadiers

  • wait, the cities you capture from alexander don't go under resistance, when i play regular civ 4 they all go under resistance. does that mean there's an option or is it just already there

  • @callofduty497

Civ is a strange beast. Within a certain range, maps are winnable but the RNG can make it easier or harder. In extreme cases on immortal +, a bad RNG roll can kill your chances entirely, though it's not like that happens every game.

  • Why does the game always recommend building roads on river tiles?

In other words what does that do?

  • when i use to play civilization i use to build a single city for the time and get boats to find my self a smaller continent so i could get away from the conflict in return i get much stronger with out being disturbed
