@Mufcstriker12 Last time I looked, I don't work for Motor Trend or any other auto journalist sites. It's my car, I'll drive it how I want it. If you're trying to get a rise out of me by trolling the comments on my videos, you're wasting your time.

These are 12.1-12-3 cars with good driver 11.75 on radials.
-
@standardracing... The only problem I have with what your saying is... No, so your saying a stock 445hp mustang runs 11.7's.. So tell me how fast the stock 550 HP gt500 is... Because those on drag radials are running 11's....
-
@ParisTNDude I feel sorry for that guy then. I had an '04 GT with nothing more than catback exhaust and drag radials and I was pulling 13.50's.
-
@StandardRacing I'm happy for him. There's another running 13.8s.
-
@ParisTNDude There is a guy on here with a stock Boss 302 on drag radials running 11.70's.
-
Those are great times! I think this car is running real close to 11s. But, with drag radials, that's about what I would expect. Nice car!

Great choice guy...Bowties are for little boys. Were you using the red "Track Key" during these runs?........P.S.......I just broke the 10th Commandment cuz I'm so coveting your BOSS!..........I still love my 66 GT Pony Convertible though. See it on YouTube: Jessie James Wanted.

I ran mine last Saturday, It was a 1/4 track but I coulndt get it into 4th , Kept locking me out, probably not enough experience with myself yet, Anyways my 1/8 mile runs were 7.96 with 1,78 60ft.
I also felt a cli=unk , not sure if it were the bushings in the upper link? I had MT/ET street drag radials
Looks like a great car. I have been seriously considering selling my Drag Strip only Capri (and a few other things) to buy one of these since I don't really have the time to race on a consistent basis anymore. Now that you have had it for a few months, what are your overall impressions of it? I race 1/8 mile most of the time myself. It makes for close racing, so I prefer it. This car with a minimal amount of modifications should be heading towards the 6's in the 1/8 without any problems.

@capriracer351 I absolutely love the car and would recommend it to anybody! It's quick as can be straight out of the box, and can be tame enough to drive daily. Doesn't have all the creature comforts of some cars, but it is purpose built, and it serves its purpose well!

1/8 mile runs are a waste of time. You never hear any car magazine editor rant about 1/8th mile times because 1/4 mile times are more representative of a cars top end capability.

@ravenstylea2 Let's see,, the nearest 1/4mi strip is about 2 hrs away, this 1/8mi strip is 2 miles from my place.
PS - there are conversions out there to calculate (albeit ballpark) 1/4mi times based on 1/8mi times.
PSS - A drag strip isn't where you'll find representations of the BOSS's true levels of performance anyway, you'll find that on a road course. The nearest one is 3 hrs from me, but I'll be sure to post video of that when I get a chance.
PSSS -Thanks for your concern.
