Fisheries Stewardship in Action PART 1 of 2

The cod moratorium changed Newfoundland and Labrador and it certainly changed the province's fishing society. In response, fish harvesters and their union - Fish, Food and Allied Workers (FFAW/CAW) - took action to rebuild fisheries and to have more of a say in fisheries science and management. They began to work with DFO to build a relationship based on shared stewardship of our ocean's resources. This is their story.
