  • @dutytocareforothers Yes. I agree with that also however, the reason that I fear the left wing misuse more than that of the right is because of the manner in which it is employed by them.

  • @DumblyBrilliant I have a vlog entitled rebuke against clinical psychology. Psychologists like to use mind-boggling jargon and obfuscation to make their pseudo-science field of garbage look meaningful. Psychology too often is used against "the people" it is espousing to help.

  • @DumblyBrilliant I agree but it's not a left wing problem. It's ingrained everywhere in the USA. Psychologists love to exploit "the weak".

  • @thigmotatic I disagree. What makes the difference between abusive use of psychology and normal use of psychology is the informed consent of the person it is being practiced upon. Much of the use of social psychology used today by governments and special interest groups is abusive and very dangerous.

  • @DumblyBrilliant - obviously. He even says defense mechanisms like this are used by everyone. It's the extent and the impact that make the difference between normal and abusive.

  • A word of warning. Pshychologists can take normal behaviour and make it seem abnormal if they have an agenda. The left wing do this all the time and we call it, PC. In other words, psychology can itself become manipulative by playing upon pseudo-logic and fears within people. Don't be fooled. Think through all counter arguments to maintain balance.

  • i read quite a lot about this stuff but it's nice to see a lot of it summarized here.

i also agree with you that nacissist's don't feel weak or bad or hate themselves (as their true motives). i don't know who came up with that theory. probably a narcissist ;) so everybody is like "Oh the poor narcissist. He just acts so mean. In reality he cries every night."

  • oh my god; sounds f---- familiar

  • gosh this could be my former mentor to a TEE...gaslighting, minimalizing, sarcasm...she was a narcissist and she did it ALL to me.
