There isnt a Hawk display team. Just one display Hawk and one pilot.
The pilot is the best from the previous fast jet course at 208 sqdrn and it is an honour to be choosen as the next display pilot.

Awesome paint job this year . Saw it at BAe Warton last week did a few touch and go's then flew back to Raf Valley . Some good pics of it on fightercontrol and also UKAR ( ukairshowreview )

have seen the Hawk diplay team and the Red Arrows on a same show here in Netherlands,great performance they gave.

Can I just ask, is there any point having a 'hawk' display team aswell as the REd Arrows as they're both flying the same thing, also do the the RAF pay for the Hawk display team and do they go off to places like Akrotiri or do they, like the black cats, do it in there own time?

The Hawk display team don't go to Akrotiri & the pilot practices at Valley. The point of the Hawk display is to demonstrate the hawk & RAF at its best. Some air shows the RAFAT don't attend due certain operational reasons, money etc.
