In 2004, AXELPROD had to take a decision between making its own Programmable Logic Controller with the Telit GE863-PY inside or, staying focused on its knowledge and contracting a partnership with a well known PLC and develop just a GSM extension module. AXELPROD was one of the first in January 2005 to use the GE863 in its Python version.
