Giovanni Ferrandini (Venice, about 1710 - Munich, 25 November 1791) was an Italian composer.
Ferrandini arrived in Munich at the age of twelve years and, despite his young age, soon he became an oboist at the court chapel. In Monaco Ferrandini composed the opera Catone in Utica to inaugurate the solemn opening of the Court Theater. Ferrandini left Munich in 1755 and moved to Padua, where he founded an Academy of music. In Padua, he was a highly respected composer, so much so that he was visited by Leopold Mozart and his son, Wolfgang Amadeus. He returned permanently in Munich in 1790.
