i can't even get into nursing because there are so many student going into nursing. 500 students apply for nursing and only 185 got accepted for nursing. in my microbiology class there are students are retaking microbiology for the 2 or 3 time because nursing requires a high GPA ok just image you have to retake a class because you didn't get an A but a b or c instead

I have a bachelor in midwifery and nursing and it was a big mistake to study that, it's not what I really wanted (where my heart is!) but when you are a nurse (here in Europe) you can be sure you will have a job for the rest of your life.

Thought they took mercury out in the late 80's.

I'd rather risk the mercury than the h1n1, anyway :P

I like this. And also as for the last statement in this video clip, very well said. And I really like reading the the written replies to these videos. I learn so much just hearing other people's perspectives. Thank you for posting.

I read recently that the trend has reversed somewhat? Too many nurses, so salaries and opportunities have declined. But that may be regional....

Actually, it depends more on what part of the country you live in. In California, RNs start at $80,000+. However, the cost of living is out of this world compared to that of WV where I work.
