Doctor Eggmans E series robots are powered by birds and Gamma must save them and kill himself to let the bird live. Thats why he's doing what he is.

The Camera is basically the only thing wrong with this game. I would agree that non-Sonic fans should avoid it however. It's pretty niche in its gameplay and appeal. They'd be better off playing the Megadrive/Genesis games, or even Sonic Colours - which is simply amazing.

@XLR8R018 "Best 3D Sonic game"? That wasn't even true when you made that comment. Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic Colors are all far better games, and now there's Sonic Generations to add to that list.
"All your complaints will disappear after playing Sonic 06"? What? SA is a glitchy mess, the camera is awful, the cutscenes are garbage, Big, Amy, and Knuckles are no fun to play, the hub worlds are stupid, etc.
The existence of Sonic 06 changes NONE of that.
