Yes you can knap glass. The glass Rambo is using is clear probably window glass, which is good because it is flat. but you can't see the the scallops where the flakes came off. I have done this with brown beer bottle glass it looked great one one side not as good on the concave side do to the radius of the bottle in took me a long time to do that.

Not all glass will knap , only plate , or solid glass will , exp.. beer bottles , flower vaices , plate glass from store fronts , or 1/4 inch plate for 4.00 a square ft at a glass store.. and advice if i were you id sit down on a bench or use your knee and a piece of thick rubber or leather. and the object is to push IN and down not just down , and if you did it this way ..well lets just say you will only miss once with that flaker..

Cool vid man , but you do realize theres way better ways to pressure flake right , you seem to be fussing around alot with that rag.. try a piece of convair belt , or some rubber shop floor tiles.
