Yet despite thousands of experiments attempting to confirm your hypothesis nothing has been published. Interesting. You also can't attribute a single athlete going from an average player in high school to a professional due to mechanics. Moreover, not every pitch at high levels is even pitched low. Quality MLB pitchers switch high and low pitches just like they work inside and outside. Watch the Astros vs Giants August 26, 2011 for an example.

@SadegoGG i know you commented a while ago but i play for an aau program that wins national tournaments every year, and we have coaches that got proffestional at bats with proffesional coaching..and the legs are one of the most important muscles to hit with, after your butt muscles...you drive off your back side with your legs, especially on a pitch below the waist (which is almost every pitch at advanced levels)

If you think that his mechanics are bad im sorry who cares what he does before his front foot hits the ground. he can spin three times throw the bat in the air and blow a bubble. But as soon as his front foots hits the ground thats when it counts and his swing is textbook perfect.
