@2ndviolinist Well, I wouldn't say "as usual" but it is the best by far; my one complaint is that he takes the piece a bit too slowly at 1:17-1:38; he should have just more "cruised" with it.
Other than that this is most excellent in every way; he really does capture the genius of Beethoven exactly or perhaps, as I believe it should be done.

As usual, Mengelberg's version is the best by far.
