@facelessaphrodisiac Really? The fact that she is a machine who is made to serve and please the viewer isn't dehumanizing? Do you know anything about the roles women were pressured to fill in the past? Trust me sweetie, I have confidence. But I actually know objectification when I see it.

Female here, and I'm in love with this commercial. Any girl here saying they are "dehumanizing" women is, and I'm sorry to say, is someone with no confidence or self esteem. The woman in the commercial isn't in a humiliating position, she isn't there involuntarily, and she isn't performing lewd acts. I see her as a symbol of femme mystique and beauty.

@kt203805 Calm down, you're reading WAAY too far into this. It's a beer comercial, for goodness sakes.

I'm a girl who supports gender equality.
And I thought this was kinda hot. :P

For females who are offended by this ad, ask yourself this... are u as attractive as robot girl? if u are, then why do u continue to wear makeup and wear revealing clothing in an effort to stay attractive?? and if you are not as attractive as robot girl.. then all theres left of you to like is personalty right??.. geez arnt u glad your not hot?
Only promiscuous girls who are ashamed of being promiscuous are sluts.

@kt203805 shut the fuck up its a commercial

@kt203805 Feminist FAIL.
Commercialism FTW!
INcase you haven't noticed, they aren't dehumanizing women, you should know that they used the models to show that guys who drink Hiny will get the chick and that hot classy chicks will drink the Hiny. Simple. No sexism here, just capitalism.

I was blown away by this commercial. It's a perfect example of dehumanizing and sexually objectifying women while restricting them to a domestic sphere (as a maid), but also criticizing the role of motherhood - instead of a child a beer keg comes out of her stomach. It's also exclusionary. Of course the robot is white, thin, and blonde - the ultimate Westernized ideal of woman. It's very sad that capitalism thrives off of the extensive obliteration of woman as human being.

Let's start with the idea that if you're going to build a robot that servers beer, and it could be any form you want, why not make it a hot, blond chick? Guys who think like this are Heineken's target consumer, I guess.
