@csuave2000 Ok rotors are bear metal. Metal rusts so if you don't use the rotors and you are in a rainy or high humidity area they will rust. To get rid of the rust just take your car for a drive around the block and use the brakes. When you engage the brakes the pads make contact with the rotor grinding them down. This also takes off all of that rust and grim from not being used. Hope this helped.

@ThEc00lEr So what if my rotors look a little rusted already? What do I do to clear off rust? My car is basically new and I'm not sure if this is b/c of the rain?? help!
