does your knot go through the upper needles ok? May be that's why @msdaigre's thread keeps breaking. With my machine I have to run it only till the knot from the first two threads gets close to the eye of the upper needles and then I have to stop, cut the knots off and thread the new thread through the needles manually.
Woa, thread "ANY' serger ??? This tutorial doesn't help me with my Huskvarna serger so the title is misleading. Heaven help you if you had to thread your serger from scratch.
I do this all the time and recommed it to others. I was looking for an instructionional video on initial threading which I could pass on to a novice. This is not what I was looking for. Your title is misleading.

Perhaps something like...
"Short-cut to Serger thread change"
"Never rethread your Serger Again"
...would be more appropriate
Good luck.

This is helpful if your machine is already threaded. If it isn't... you're screwed.
