  • What is the name of this song?

  • @94sealover The song is called "Mai Gui, Mei Gui Wo Ai Ni" the singer is Frances Yip, an it is from the album, Xiang Nian Yi Jiu Vol.1.

I am happy you like it.

I was in Hong Kong during 1956 and 1957 with the British Army, I was mostly in Kowloon, and I enjoyed my time there very much.

  • Hello woosung58,

I have not seen the "new" Hong Kong, apart from pictures and video, but I must say that the Hong Kong of the 50's and 60's would be hard to beat. I loved every minute of my stay there.

Happy memories of walking up Nathan Road to get the Star Ferry for visits to the island, Happy Valley and Repulse Bay in particular.

    Happy memories.

  • @woosung58 Hello, how long did you lived in Hong Kong?

  • @woosung58 Hello, how long did you lived in Hong Kong?

  • I have found a photo of two men in an office labeled A. Krug (or A. King) + A. Dearing Hong Kong March '56. There is some kind of divided chalkb oard in the background. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

  • My family was there ten years later & though lots had changed, perapas the change has been accelerating as I recognise your HK as mine. Was at Gun Club school & that's gone. Suspect the block of flats we lived in hadn't been built in '56, but they were torn down in the 70s'!

  • Great photos, brought back memories of living in Hong Kong in the 1970's as most places didn't change until the late 70's early 80's

  • 好真貴的照片啊!!
