  • A great rare tune by the Channels, thanks

  • You're welcome

  • Do you you think you post a higher quality version of this song, please?

  • This is the cleanest copy I have. If I ever find a better copy I'll post it. Do you click the HQ button when you watch videos? With exception of a little surface noise this is a pretty good sounding copy

  • Great song but why is that in most Doowop songs guys say baby? Why not my lovin lady or woman?

  • Baby was common slang in the 50s, just like baby girl was in the 70s and is now. Baby seems easier to fit into doo wop lyrics. Doo wop has relatively simple beat and melody progressions. Because of this doo wop usually gets right to the point

  • i love Baby Bettty !!! Erik Von

  • Just having a look back at some of your other songs! I love this one! PJ have you ever been to the Whirlin Disc store?

  • The final WD release, only 10,

  • Good one.

  • The other side is a great classic Flames in my Heart

  • Great uptempo Rock n' Roll !

  • This song makes me think of the beginning of my twelth grade year in highschool which just passed by the way.

  • @SuperWarriorMullet I'm sorry...you're not serious...or are you? I respect your right, as a matter of personal taste, to challenge the use of 'baby', but I just don't get it. It just plain 'works' for me, it isn't demeaning or derogatory, and is an accepted term of great affection. Anyway...just try to substitute your choice in all of the great songs that have 'baby' in the lyrics. I think you'll see what I mean.

  • @PJDooWop thanks !!!!!

    ERIK VON

  • Stars In The Sky is the flip of The Gleam In Your Eye. This is the flip of Flames In My Heart
