Is it just me, or is the voice VERY soft? I can see what is going on, but since I'm relying on YouTube for all my C/K lesssons, I really would like to hear the crafter.

Hi Apryl! You'll want to make sure your computer's sound is turned up if you're having difficulty. I'm able to hear the video as expected.

Here is a breakdown of what I've said in the video:

Insert your hook behind 1st vertical thread and angle it to the back, push all the way through. Yarn over and pull through.

then I show you the vertical loop and that you're pushing back through the space between stitches.

It's easier to keep your finger behind the stitch you're working so that you can feel where the hook is going.

Repeat placing the hook behind the vertical bar, push it through, yarn over and pull through, always leaving the loop on the hook.

Tunisian is the densest of the Tunisian stitches, that I've found.

In the last stitch, work into the 2 side loops to make an even side.

I then show you the whole swatch, the first few rows are Tunisian Simple, then Tunisian Purl, then Tunisian Knit. Flipping it over you can see and feel the dense area.

I also mention that I prefer Tunisian KNit for hats, bags, et cetera because it's dense and nothing will easy poke through the stitches.

To work back, yarn over and pull through 1 (left edge stitch), then yarn over and pull through 2 the rest of the way.

When I show the second row, when moving forward to pick up loops again, I just mention that the loop left on the hook at the end is always the 1st stitch of the new row, which is why you don't work into the right edge.

I am new to tunishian crochet although I have crocheted for 40 years I am broadening my knowledge of my favorite hobby. My question is how do I cast off using the knit stitch and keep my work looking the same not switching to afghan stitch on the cast off?

I think that this is so cool.  Ive always knitted the continental way because thats what my mother taught me. Its very interesting to see a new and different way to create beautiful things
