  • @davomrmac welcome i have a question im looking for a PMP video player etc and i ran intot this device a week ago and seen so many models like P-2000 P-3000 P-4000 etc now i cant make mind up which maybe easy for some should i buy this Epson P-5000 ohh i read it plays DIVX WMV MPEG video formats i hope anyway again should i buy this Epson P-5000 or the COWON V5HD device i really like the Epson i see it on Amazon for $400.00 i like it has 80GB and COWON 32GB also epson has those card reader slot

  • @ScottJamesLewisNJ I would go for something from Cowon unless you want the superb Epson screen and real photo usage.

  • @ScottJamesLewisNJ Ok i read mor einfo on Amazon users and they only one person states its not really that good for video player any another perosn said he was told by epson tech support its not really a video player since fellow had hard time converting his vids to play on it so i guess the COWON V5 wins here huh

  • I needed/wanted one until I saw how slow this device is. Do you know if the P-7000 is faster (does the drive still spin down often?)

  • hmmmm nice but to be honest it's limited, a decent PMP with cost a third of that thing and do more. The only thing that lets PMP down is lack of card reader and RAW support.

  • It's a nice device but I think users will drop interest in this because of the new ultra portable computers that could do all this and more. The price difference is not that big.
