When you're doing interior painting, it takes a lot of time to tape off the walls and ceiling. Even then, your masking tape might "leak." Here's how to paint those edges where your walls come up against molding or the ceiling. You just need some good brushes and a simple technique. • yes trim first then wall but in her style its the trim first so thats ok shes so sweet and thank you for vid it was very helpful!

  • @farstarfilms Thank you for your positive words!

I do want to say that I've tried painting trim both ways and I find that I notice the lines much more when I paint the trim first, so I always paint the walls first. The trim line is hidden mostly on the side of the trim, so it works for me. Each was has it's benefits.

The most important parts are the same- get a good brush and take good care of it, and use a steady hand.

  • paint the white trim first , easier to bring a straighter line of wall color flat up to the white trim. Bristles need to be squeezed in the brush keeper to flatten and shape them while stored. If china bristle have karosene in brush to store.

    Hold brush like a pencil

  • U r not holding the brush corectly, and if u want a nice line dip 1/2 of the brush in paint, if u go more wash it and start again.
