  • The [x] dislikes are oh my god who gives a shit.

  • How the hell could you leave out Phil Mogg's drunken.... "whadidja say?....WHAT!?...O-kay, here's a sawng called Ruck Buttum!"

  • @TBirdSCIL Blame YouTube's then-10 minute duration limit.

  • has to be one of the best live tracks for sure. The keyboard/solo interaction is just stunning!!

So explain the 18 minute live MSG solo's?!!

  • best solo ever . com

  • Turn up to 11!

  • The solo on this song is truly breathtaking, arguably one of the greatest solos in rock history but, unfortunately, very overlooked. Compare this beautiful piece of soloing with anything that today's guitarists do. They are better shredders, I give them that, but when it comes to musicality, there's a class difference.

  • imagine listening the solo whilst on lsd that would be funny--- one big mash!

  • F*cking awesome!!

  • @MrTheMasterX Absolutely. They sold me on looking this up.

  • Breaking down this lead in mode theory it is a song in E but he relates the modes around a D major and the modes he uses are G Lydian , A Mixolydian ,B Minor F # Phrygian , C # Locrian , and E Dorian(which is the key of the song although he uses more penatonic minor when playing E and very little Dorian(Remember the D Major never gets used in this song it is just that these modes happen to relate to it) A mysterious rule of music theory. Think of the major as the parents.

  • I have played guitar for 37 years since the age of 6,I play in a metal original band that plays classic rock when it comes time for covers, and I teach guitar . Let me tell you right now that Micheal Schenker is a guitarist I place on the highest of pedistools along side of Randy Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell ,Steve Vai, Steve Morse,Ynwie Malmsteen,Ritchie Blackmoore,Page,Hendrix and you name it, Michael is right up there with the best of them and this solo seals that fact.

  • One of best solos ever. UFO are playing some gigs in Manchester UK on 30th March so going to see that. Not Schenker et al but Mogg and Way and others. Cant wait!!
