This gives a quick run-through of the WoodGaz Folding Backpacking Stove, made by Zelph and and sold through his stove site www.woodgaz-stove.com. It's a clever stove made of wire mesh, the video shows it in use. Stay tuned if you like to watch a stove being loaded with wood, and then have the wood burn....

  • good old american ingenuity. You didnt say or I missed it...is it stainless or just regular steel?

  • @txcaleath Didn't remember to say. Stainless steel.

  • Nice review and stove, Grizz. But, serious question: rather than carry a smutty stove, if burning wood is the goal, why not 3-4 pot-supporting rocks with a small kindling fire inside it. Nothing smutty to carry (assuming one can find rocks).

  • @coolkayaker1 used to be one could get a titaninum folding grill, weighed maybe 1 oz. Save yourself from having to find rocks. Of course it will have some soot...

  • Wow, thanks for the video. Great stove, a lot of pluses. Thanks for demonstrating it and appreciate your comments and tips.

  • @ProfessorHammock I see, Grizz. I'm having fun watching Tinny's videos, partly for the stoves, but mostly for images of my native New England. Thanks for your stove review.

  • Very nice review. Fair and accurate...Dash Riprock
