@pianistPT Thanks :-) I heard Novaes' play it a few days ago and I liked it a lot and I have begun to listen to more from her. Nelson Freire's interpretation of this is also beautiful - and then there is Rachmaninoff's that is absolutely surreal :-)

Heavily poked out notes, very little sense of line or singing, unable to decide between bathos or hysteria.......Not the best of this pianist. She always played better when she wore totally flat shoes!
