I have a student who wanted to learn this today. I've been playing it every couple weeks or so at Church but I was doing fills using double strokes and putting some double bass into it. I don't stray too far from the original though. Good instruction!!! Do you have a drum tab I could print out for him? If you don't, I can use logic and hook my electric set in to SD 2.0 and make drum music that way for him. I just wanted to give him your original stuff so he can learn your interpretation.
@Metalheadbanger094 i played with him at Worship Central in Hong Kong and asked him that question and he told me that it gives him a more full sound when he hits the snare because more area of the stick is hitting the snare.
@Metalheadbanger094 depending the type of sticks youve got its a better crack off the snare and ting off cymbals (generally punchier sound). but its all preference. :L lol
why is he holding the left hand stick backwards?
