Welp, alls well that ends well! Time to bring this episode of The $25,000 Pyramid to a close. Hey, thanks for tuning in, and stay tuned for more game show gold. Oh, by the way, when I originally recorded this in 2000, the power went out at my parents place before the VCR could record the credits. My bad, guys... Don't worry, though, I'll make up for it. Later, game headz!!

  • Say, gameshowluvr86, it can't be a Thursday episode because Friday's episode had 2 civilian ladies playing, so it's gotta be either Tuesday or Wednesday. Do you have the series debut episode of the $25K Pyrmaid in your catalogue that you can upload for us next to make things go easier to remember this episode's original airdate?

  • I think I do somewhere, gonna have to look though. :)

  • Which episode is this? I know that it can't be either the Monday or Friday episode, so it's either the Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday episode.

  • I think this is Thursday, not sure though....

  • The good old days when GSN let you actually hear the closing of a show...nowadays, they cut to the next show in the middle of the prize copy, which is squeezed to a tiny little box while they promote their poker shows and cat pageants. :-P

  • Thanks anyways. And thanks especially for posting this episode. This week of shows was the perfect beginning to what was easily the era when the show hit its peak (the 1982-1988 era).

  • Well just to let you guys know, American Bandstand and The Today Show both turned 30 years old and Bill Cullen who hosted The Original Price is Right and the Original $25,000 Pyramid hosted Child's Play for CBS which followed Clark's Pyramid and before TPIR w/Bob Barker and the late Bert Convy hosted Tattletales for CBS Daytime, but it was shown in the afternoons & CBS aired Capitol, but they still aired Young and the Restless, As the World Turns and Guiding Light and abc still aired Family Feud
