"Mack the Knife", music by Kurt Weill and lyrics by Bertolt Brecht for the "Threepenny Opera", is a very popular tune that arose from the Bauhaus in the Weimar Republic during the 1928. Legendary and popular artists such as Louis Armstrong, Bobby Darin, Lotte Lenya, Ella Fitzgerald, Liberace, Michael Buble, have all done their own rendition of this tune.

As a young film composer, I always try to find ways to challenge myself, so I felt that creating a traditional Hollywood orchestral film score with this popular tune as the main theme became a really exciting side project. In this particular piece the music of John Williams became the source for inspiration. I find that this piece could also be used for a video game soundtrack of sort.

Composed on Logic 9 with Hollywood Strings by East-West sounds.
I hope you enjoy!

I wish I had the same possibility to mix up my own songs with orchestrial motives.

But lucky enough have the facility, so I don´t need it anymore! ;]

Thank you, you made my day!
