BNSF 6900 leads a work train up shoo-fly at Alray/Tunnel 2. The hopper cars are solar-powered and are dumped via remote-control. The train worked it's way east to about MP 58 before reversing back down to Walker.

  • This was totally cool! First time I'd ever seen any ballasting.

  • last time i saw a BNSF ballast train, the cars were Herzog and the locos were all EMD. great catch!
