I don't know if you were already planning on doing this, but you could totally do a yugi/yami thing with JP. You already have him sometimes take over by his "dark side". I could see it working out pretty well.

You should have them all hanging out and making up stories that include cliche things that had been incorporated in the Digimon series, especially evil twin brothers (to make it hilariously funny and connecting to Koichi). Then they should make fun of those cliche bits and talk about how it could never happen in a million years.

If you havent seen Guilty Knight, i suggest you look it up, its quite good, kinda vampiric and slightly dark

Not alot of cast, easy to edit, short and most importantly, LOTS of opportunities to make funny comments and just all around jokes
I honestly dont know why its that, but if not, then how about something along the lines of ghost nappa.. just not with nappa (For obvious reasons)
