That will happen when the person your racing has 1000+ more hp than you. And for you to manage a 174mph trap you have no slouch. I would guess if you took the throttle stop off you would run mid to low 7s.

I ran against this car in time trials in Super Comp in Charlotte at the Carolinas Nationals this past weekend. I ran 8.88 @ 174 MPH and this son of a bitch damn near spun me around at the finish line. He ran 8.85 @ 218 MPH. If that was eliminations, how in the hell do you read a 44 MPH difference at the finish line against that thing. What an awesome car!
