  • I read somewhere that arranger Hubert Bougis passed away... does anyone have info on this?

    thanks

  • Unfortunately, that's right. He passed away on the 25th of April 2009. Another genious is gone. Some excerpts of this Missa Cantate were played during the ceremony. Thomas Bloch.

  • What a music and what a voice !

  • I have heard that Hubert Bougis (the arranger) has worked for Celine Dion, has made the orchestration for Luc Besson's movie The 5th Element (Le 5ème élément) and Thomas Bloch has played with Radiohead, Gorillaz, Tom Waits, in Amadeus movie... Great team !

  • This voice and this music---it's made in heaven! Jörg Waschinski is the cream of today's male sopranos .

  • Wow that was beautiful!

  • I'm saddened , I have had the pleasure to work with him 15 years ago and he was truly a genious...

what are the causes of his death? (If you don't mind me asking )

Do you know of any website were I can get some info?

    thanks

  • Belissimo!

  • I listened to the CD of this and it is amazingly beautiful. I highly recommended it. We need to hear more of the music of Thomas Bloch!

  • super top bravot...

  • i´m agree, he´s wonderfull!

  • I've just discovered the world of countertenors/sopranists, and I'm captivated. Oddly enough, Journey's Steve Perry was my gateway drug of choice, as I was stunned to realize that he was a countertenor recently.
