When I was in grade school, I often walked from school or home to Woodland Park Zoo to visit with the animals and the zoo attendants. At that time I knew many of the animals names and loved my time alone wandering. There is a fee for the zoo now but at that time you could come and go as you wanted without restriction. I could walk for hours through the zoo and down the hill to the lake.
We all have stories about our youth and how money effected our lives at different stages of development. Understanding our "money stories", re-membering and sharing those stories, and then re-playing them in different ways can help us to play more fully for ourselves and with others as we share our uniqueness and the resources that we have on hand.
