In a 3-part series Rajendra Joshi, Managing Trustee, Saath - Winner of the Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 award by Schwab Foundation. In the first part he explains his earlier days in Tanzania and his social development work with various organizations in India. He studied in Tanzania, got the degree in Zoology, worked as Medical Representative, Sold Air Conditioners, worked as Clerk with import-export firm for some period. He didn't like those jobs, and joined the social development organization to work in slums in Ahmedabad, which led to the foundation of Saath.
