It is in fact impossible for me to know if some of my videos constitute copyright infringement because all the material I uploaded is the result of TV recording and passion for the music.

@SPACETIMEBEAUTY its exactly that, I prefer Cherubini's style of composition I understand the difference between both styles and there is really no comparison since both styles are different, but, If I need to choose between a light melody of the baroque period and an opulent and imposing composition of the classical (almost romantic) period I choose classical

@darodriguezdiaz Do you mean to say that just because both operas (Trajedie-lyric, and Belle-canto) have the same title you would compare between them, ranking one over the other. Or is it that over all you prefere the latter style of music to that of the (French) baroque period???

It is a nice composition overall but the Charpentier version is not as epic nor as awe inspiring as the Cherubini version. A very nice interpretation none the less.

Bravo Bravo to Mr. Niquet. excellent production. Briliant cast, most notablly to the fabulous and very poignat Mlle. d'Oustrac.
I wish, however, that the prologue celebrating Louis XIV glory had not been omitted.
