It's not an opinion it's a FACT, Bush violated international law, whether you agree with the decision to go into Iraq, and the members of Congress who voted for it and continue to vote for it are just as accountable!! If the Secretary of the Army had not been invited, there would be no reason to protest. What do you have to say about the pro-war group showing up? Like I said don't take any of my responses personal, I tend to get passionate about this stuff.
Just remember, our nation was founded on behalf of protest. And if there's no need to protest I guess there's no need to invite the Secretary of the Army to the graduation. I know we don't agree but don't take any of my comments personally my friend.
When certain government officials come to town, we're going to protest as well as in D.C. I apologize for any misunderstandings regarding our protest, but like I said nobody really saw us because those who took part in the graduation as well as their families went in a separate entrance and we were basically the next town over from West Point.
I said COUNTY not country. And we were not protesting the grads; my protest was not aimed at them in any way, shape or form. And secondly I was there last year as well when VP Cheney spoke.
Our message should have been clearer, we support the troops, but we're concerned with the fact that the Army Secretary was the speaker. I recommended we had signs which read "Congrats to the grads" but be holding Bush accountable simultaneously. I'm sorry if I didn't answer your question thoroughly but it's not a military dictatorship, and most of the families didn't see us, as they went in through another entrance.
Well I reside about 25 minutes from West Point, and this wasn't on campus, this was in the next town over Highland Falls so most of the families didn't see us because they went in a separate entrance. I have gone to D.C to protest outside the White House as well as to vigils. Sorry for this bad impression, and I admit we can't get our message out, but I protested because the Secretary of the Army was in my home county and I couldn't let that go without a protest.

In whose shoes? Bush's? He's a war criminal! Took us into war, on a lie, violating international law!

Yes, but I live in Orange County and am relatively close to West Point. No offense, but the comment doesn't make that much sense.
