  • Varalys the demon lord makes a bid to destroy and rule fairyland. The princess, fearing capture splits herself into the three guardian fairies and with hope that he may vanquish Varalys, summons a man from another plane into the remains of fairyland. This man goes onto defeat Varalys and his demons all the while collecting the three fairies and the gems needed to reform the princess. At the end, the man kneels, pledging his loyalty to the princess and becoming the protector of all fairyland.

  • who's the hot chick

  • did the dishwasher monster kidnap her

  • Wow. This ending sucks.

Now I want to just get rid of my copy of Virtual Hydlide.

  • @Crazyman1212 nope, im just not simple like you. bye.

  • @TigerEyeJewel what vampire you fucking moron, theres a light, she becomes frozen in time in a soap bubble and then some faggot comes in and kness infront of her and all of a sudden there in the country side. i'm guessing your a HARDCORE fan of this game.

  • @Crazyman1212 are you abit simple? queen gets captured by vampire lord in a castle, you save her, shes free, the world goes back to normal...ain't no simpler then that.

  • WHY did they think remaking it would make anyone like Hydlide? ANY OTHER GAME PLZ!

  • Okay, I can see what they were trying to do here, but there's a difference between staying faithful to the original and wasting potential. One of the great things about later-gen systems was the ability (and expectation, in my opinion) to be able to tell a competent story. This is almost like if Ocarina of Time ended with Zelda saying "THANKS LINK, YOU'RE THE HERO OF HYRULE." Sure, they had some fancy-pants live action, but lesser games had more story with actors. Titan Wars comes to mind.

  • Hopefully, T&E have learned their lesson from this mess and will never make another one.
