From the death metal band Capharnaum. Matt Heafy (Trivium) did the vocals for this band's 2004 CD Fractured. It's not bad at all, this was my favorite song from it and personally i like it. I edited the song it was originally over 6 minutes but after about 3 minutes and 10 seconds it was just some low guitar playing, so i left the good stuff. Enjoy!

Here are the lyrics as well:

Leeching off the blood of old
Lasting gaze turned heart of tone
Tear the heart out beating cold
Skinned pulled apart then drip the bone
Conceived in blood
Is the untruth
Occultist ritualistic birth of a new god
Abhor the pure who lay in light
Clawing at night
Behold masterful unload
Tear me from this life I once knew
Carnivorous perversion
Spiral down into dementia
I refuse the possessed

[solo Suecof]

Carnivorous perversion
I refuse the possessed

[solo Suecof]
[solo Mongrain]
[solo Suecof]

  • If he went back to record with capharnaum again, they would sound better with their vocals, he has improved greatly.

  • @beezlebub91 Well I think the vocals are pretty damn good considering Matt was only 17 when this was recorded.

  • Love the music, hate the vocals.

  • @DaBlackDahlia16 I lolled.

  • Dan Mongrain was in this band right? He is fucking crazy, if you dont kow who he is, find out now. Im not a fan of matts vocals but it seems to fit here so its all good

  • @seanyboy212 This is technical death metal in its purest form...

  • @vince90x More of a melo-death influence than black metal i reckon

  • @JobForAMaxboy kirisute gomen

  • I used to hang out with the drummer jordan when i was like 15 or 16 he was really good then i bet hes even better now...and seanyboy they were teenagers when they did this I bet you dont even play an instrument....I hate when people talk shit about stuff does it matter i u dont like it..umm...NO

  • this is awful. not gonna lie.

  • listen i do believe that matt heafy has wonderful harmonizing capabilities but deff think hed be better off in this band over trivium because in my oppinion shogun was a dissapointment and i believe after ascendancy shit went downhill
