Removing rust from a 30+ year old diving board. The metal was quite pitted and impossible to clean by hand. Just a few passes with the angle grinder and the metal is smoothed down. The hole in my pants is from where the sparks actually burned a hole right through!! ouch!

  • @MerkleyTheCanadian Grinding wheel works better for serious rust. A wire wheel is only good for light surface rust.

  • did your hands get all buzzy from the vibration after the job? Precisely the reason why i avoid using angle grinders >_<

  • @spitzification14 oh i read its pitted not bent if yr gonna pain it again use bondo automotive body filler

  • @MerkleyTheCanadian it ll remove rust and paint better then use the grind ind disc to level it out or do it the Canadian way and level it out with a sledge hammer your grinder is better than mine is a 19.00 mastercraft Canadian tire special lol
