While not all Eames designs are timeless, the Eames's are legends of design. Your video is a nice tribute, I only wish some of the objects didn't go by so fast. The music is excellent, what is it?
Thats amazing think of how many rare design pieces are being or have been destroyed. My parents had an old sofa which they were going to throw out and then I discovered it was a borge mogensen so they gave it to me!!! Lucky.
I saw an Eames lounge chair and stool on the curb wating for the garbage collectors. I felt like a total crazy person. I stopped my car and stuck it in. The next year I got 4 Bertoia chairs for 25 bucks each. Man the myth of scarcity was at it again.
I think you could have shown the vast number of pieces that the Eames had done thorought their life time. You've only were able to show a very small number of pieces. good work nonetheless. i like the clip.
This is soooo totally amazing! You did a really great job. I find the work of Ray and Charles awesoem (in the true sense of the word) and this video does a great job of showing how truly amazing it is.
