Tool-assisted speedrun played on emulator.

This is quite a brutal game in the beginning. If you're not careful you drop dead to first enemy in two hits. That happened to me when I played on console and I brought the game back to my friend pretty quickly.

  • Beautiful music

  • @superbenA02 Never beat it on my own. I beat Avernum, Though.

  • GOD! I LOVED this game. . .

  • 3:06 the item getting sound is the same as the sound when you upgrade something in metroid prime xD

  • @wurty Yeah, this game wasn't designed as a platformer, yet the developers made platforming stages...go figure. It's a bitch sometimes, I feel ya. Though ti shouldn't be bad like you say, just running around and jumping over minions is supposed to be simple.

  • I've been playing this game a lot recently and one thing I've noticed that really bugs me is that sometimes jumping is unresponsive. Can anyone relate? Or is it just me? I've tried switching emulators and setting the jump to a different button, but I'm made to think it's just the game. I'm playing the genesis version.

  • oh my heck! i finally found this game! I remember playing this all the time at my grandma's house when I was 4 and couldn't read. I remember getting to a dragon and dying a lot.

  • the music is far better on the genesis version than the snes in fact its some of the best music i have ever heard for the genesis ^_^

  • I have this on my SNES and have beaten it 3 times. I had beaten the Genesis version on my PSP with a homebrew emulator durning a road trip last summer.

  • Not to mention that Europe never got to enjoy two of the greatest US release Sega Genesis shmups which are Trouble Shooter and MUSHA along with Grind Stormer.
