Thanks Dr., staples removed tday, cast another 3 weeks, just concerned with keeping it repaired after rehab and return to work eventually. Telecommunications work on poles & ladders so I'm hoping to strengthen my legs as much as possible in rehab. Thanks again & hope you have Happy, Healthy Holidays !

My boyfriend ruptured BOTH...had surgery within hours of the rupture. It's day 6 after the surgery. He's still in the hospital, waiting to be moved to a rehab facility. Thank you for the video, it gave a visual reference to what the surgeon explained. He's over 50, but no other risk factors. He's very active, a glazing contractor who can't sit still so the next few months will be interesting. He's already wanting to go to the gym to work out his upper body! I'll keep you posted on his recovery.

do you think a person with a mild injury of a partially torn quad tendon can go to the gym and do light weight training or is it a possibility that they can tear the entire tendon.

@spiderwebchick go slowly
no resistance
give it time and let it heal
