@bergbryce Politics? Really?! Here is a person who actively traded stock for years along with many others who are coming out telling you the system is broken and you call that politics? Heard of MF Global? This isn't about politics this is about reality my friend and all the lady here that made this video is trying to do is prepare for the inevitable and inform you.So you can ignore it like the rest of the sheeple but like it or not it is coming there will be a collapse.

Hi, so for long term storage you seal them etc, but how long do they last for in just canning jars in the light for every day use?

You should be on doomsday preppers!

Is it really beneficial to add an oxygen absorber to a vaccuum sealed bag? I always assumed the the vaccuum sealer dealt with the oxygen.

Guess 3 years later ... the sky hasn't fallen has it? But, at least you got your dried corn to eat!

I love how you display your jars. So pretty!

@Dehydrate2store I don't believe in a dramatic cinematic "end times" per se- but I do believe that without knowing how to prep, a smaller, mundaner "end times" is a scary possibility. So, it's no harm in believing whatever you do if it inspires you to be better at taking care of you and yours.

Love the idea of dehydrating over canning. Canning always seemed so unstable to me, but this I can do.
Unlike money, fruit grows on trees.
Are you a believer in the end times and does that play a role in your passion for dehydration, storage, etc.?

Many cultures, religions, physicists, physics, scientists and economist have theories with an end time scenario that have eerily commonalities. For some reason countless people think we will live forever yet, feel we have to die first. This is a subject that interests most of us and encouraged my own personal search for truth. Far too lengthily of a topic to post. However,

However, it is a subject I hope to cover on March 22 @ 2:00 pm mountain time on Blog talk Freedomizer radio with the end time watchman. My reason for food storage is purely economic and a smart safety net for our families. Would like to hear your thoughts. Tammy

If I am understanding correctly, You don't grow all of this food youself? Like oranges, corn, etc. .... Do you buy from the grocery store during winter months and dehydrate and then dehydrate from your garden? I just ordered fruit trees and food plants for this summer but it will take a while to get them going. Help. I am a newbie. Glenn Beck got me started thinking about this. I don't eat Mac N Cheese, so we are going the healthier way!LOL....

@berrygrower
HI Again, I have a large garden but, not big enough for the food storage I need. Local Farmer Markets and Farmers Auctions are a big part of my resource as well as the LDS cannery. My web site has a video of a Farmers Auction and the resource section has a map of all the canneries. Many more video and information at my site then on you tube. Hope I have helped. Tammy

Could you tell me what brand of heat sealer this is?

@berrygrower @berrygrower
I have a Weston Pro 2300 the cost is around 400.00 and is for high volume sealing. How exspensive or how big your sealer is not as important as the bags you uses. A $1000. vacuum sealer will not stop the bags from leaking so bags are number one on the list. I talk about this on my site. Much more information there. Hope I have helped. Tammy
