On the program:
- PG&E has begun a state mandated inspection of all its natural gas pipelines in California following last week's deadly explosion in San Bruno.- EPA says Enbridge Energy has plugged an oil pipeline leak near Chicago that caused a major supply disruption.- Two days of contentious hearings on hydrofracking are under way in upstate New York.- A new lithium-ion battery plant opens today in Michigan.

    Interesting to see the new Lithium battery plant opening in Michigan and China holding back all rare earth metals exports at the same time. I understand it will take 5-10 for the USA rare earth remote mine operations to be functional and the Chinese seem to have a lock on supply.
