This short film charts the chronology and reasons behind what remains a unique phenomenon: the large-scale shift amongst Dutch drug users from injecting their drugs of choice, to smoking them.
This tendency has been so pronounced that drug consumption rooms in Holland are almost universally given over to providing a safe and secure place for users to smoke and socialise without causing neighbourhood concerns and without fear of Police harassment.
They're clearly stating that people made the change because of HIV/AIDS, and/or because of police harassing you and being put in prison where they can't get needles. Yet you're all screaming and hollering about "drug policy changes" creating this change from injecting to smoking heroin. What's wrong with this picture?

Amazing video about an incredible period of time that shows the relationship between drug policy and drug practice. Congratulations. Mat Southwell International Network of People who Use Drugs

Nice film guys, this is harm reduction in full flow ... keep reducing the harm. Arguably smoking is also quite harmful to the human body. It's always a shame that people need to use a 'substance' to regulate emotion when there are more effective ways to do this. That includes 'all' substances! Check out some of my harm reduction vids on my channel. Peace out.
