Tileproxy + cachya (trackir alternative)

This is a demonstration of tileproxy and cachya. Tileproxy is a free program for fsx that replaces the default terrain with terrain from online satalite imagery services such as google earth or virtual earth, it creates some of the best scenery for fsx.

Cachya is a head tracking program that uses it webcam. It is an alternative to trackir for much much cheaper...

there can be a drop in fps, but considering that using tileproxy turns off all autogen, it generally will have little effect on the fps

nice video, I made a video with Cachya too but how did you get your zoom and shrug to wrok so good, are you use key commands or Cachya?

hey thanks, i'm guessing your problem is that you don't have the newest version of cachya...it automatically supports full 6dof in fsx...no setup needed...ok...maybe a bit of setup...just adjusting sensitives and stuff...but it works great!! if you have any other questions (or if that doesn't answer your question) feel free to ask away!

hey mr.chief i installed tile proxy beta 8 and ive got all black scenery. im using virtual earth, fsx sp1 and acceleration, with vista 32 bit ultimate. ive tried all the fucking tweaks and shit but nothing seems to work. also, when i load a free flight for fsx i watch the tile proxy command prompt thing go and i see a alot of "giving up" and "retrying" messages. reason for the black tiles. idk. hopefully you could tell me what to do. thanks a lot man. nice vid by the way. i subscribed
