Most sites that contain value targets often contain so much iron many detectors spend too much time ignoring the iron and missing targets! The lobo has a fast recovery rate in iron Infested area like Roman and Celtic Romano sites. With the 10x12 DD coil and a service tune matching the coil you can expect this detector 2 go deep like Minelabs. I have a gpx 5000 and many good such trashy sites so I always take the Lobo. Minelab do have some of the best detectors in the world, eg gpx5000

The Lobo is if used right (Balanced right) and with a good coil not the crap one on this one can beat most detectors at finding the goodies. The speaker should be upgraded as I did too mine see a local electrical shop and ask for a decent speaker if your not using headphones. Though a good set of headphones the sounds are far better. Get a 10x12 DD coil and if using Discrim use no more than 3-4. I have used many detectors in my time and the lobo has been up there with my GPX 5000 for finds.
