how do you get sound off clips?

well i use iMovie, so I click on the little sound thing in the corner of where it displays the clip, and at the top it says volume. and you just put it to zero. the song that you have with the clips will go over it, and there will be no sound on the clip

okay, you press video on the right side, at the botton, and then you see the video clips, and you see below it, and you press it on tge left side of the mouse, and it saysd mute on the screen, you press it, and its mute
