This is the final product after 10 years working on a public monument that citizens do not see, because the sculpture is closed in a building. The sculpture is surrounded by people who feel a close affinity to it. This sculpture tells about human emancipation from physical and psychic constraints. This sculpture is a metaphor of the necessary effort to succeed in reaching an ideal and future, utopian vision of our selves.

This monument is a public monument is sadly enough not open to citizens, all tax contributors who paid for its making. The Postbank was a public building that got privatized and now is a private company, owned by the Deutsche Bank.

The general public gets granted visitation upon request. But this is a rare situation. Some public events take place in the building and few people are then allowed to see the monument.

By publishing the videos about this my work, I contribute in my way making this monument public. I must insist, this is the only sculpture in the world telling a story about human emancipation in a universal way.
