Windows Live Messenger Alternatives for Linux

If you'd been using Windows, you would probably had been using Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Messenger, etc.

However, these applications are non-existent on Linux. Fortunately, there are equivalents out there which can be very similar to WLM. Most of them are in fact, much more lightweight and customisable.

To download (Ubuntu):
sudo apt-get install amsn
sudo apt-get install emesene

Fedora:
Enter "su" first then,
yum install amsn
yum install emesene

Sorry if i made you misunderstand. I'm just saying that Pidgin, although not as many features as aMSN and others is the only client current supporting Yahoo and various other ones.
