( http://www.tflcar.com ) Starting in 2011 keep your eyes in your rear view mirror for this new Australian built GM Caprice police car. In Denver today at the annual International Association of Chiefs of Police, General Motors removed the wraps from the 2011 Chevy Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle (PPV). GM displayed the prototype while at the same time confirming plans to build the V-8 and V-6 Caprice that will only be available to police departments and not the general public.

  • Not one American was put at work in the production of this car. It was build in Australia, shipped over to the U.S. and made believe an "All American" car. Couldn't fool me.

  • such a big engine in such a small car? good luck with handling boys. to make this car have a good handling, everything is going to have to be heavier. so goodbye fuel economy. also, ford can do better with an engine half its size..

  • Fuck the Pigs. Sell this car to the civilian market, and bring back the El Camino too. I don't care if the Aussies built it, at least they know how to built RWD muscles for Pontiac.

  • @Beckugan1 Carbon Motors in the best new Police Car anyways

  • It looks ugly

  • Fuck Chevy

  • how come its a concept vehicle when it is being sold in the Middle Eastern market for years now? it is manufactured by Holden, Australia... and for the record it is a piece of junk, I hate to say this considering that I'm a Chevy fan.

  • @MrDeadeye60 Your dumb.

  • Once again Chevy using a Gas Guzzling 6.0, Ford Taurus all the way. AWD is standard on all the new Ford Interceptors. GM take your bailout money and keep wasting it on your Vettes and Maros.

  • Have a look at the Cars we get over in Australia boys. Look up HSV or FPV.

  • I have a very simular car to this one. It's called a HSV Grange. Runs a 6.2L 6 speed auto. It has 427hp and uses 3.67 gallon to 62 mile. Which I fell is pretty good. I love it. The car in this video is Holden Caprice which is the luxury version of the commodore but has a longer wheel base. The cops over there are going to love them.
